The Nurturing Adolescent Program is a free parent education program that follows an evidence-based curriculum for adolescents ages 12-18 and their

caregivers. Throughout the program, facilitators strive to strengthen family relationships, empower families to make healthy choices, and improve communication skills. The program meets weekly for 12 weeks. During the class, a light snack and childcare for younger siblings are offered onsite with no cost to participants. Referrals for the Nurturing Adolescent Program are accepted on a continuous basis from Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), Department of Social Services (DSS), school guidance counselors, school resource officers, other community agencies, and self-referrals.
