Rape & Sexual Assault
Sexual violence affects millions of Americans every year. On average, there are 433,648 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States (RAINN, 2019). You are not alone.
Sexual assault can create intense feelings and emotions, including fear, a sense of helplessness, anxiety, anger, and shame. These feelings are normal and can be difficult to cope with, especially if they worsen over time.
